  • R1 shock mod

any one done a tech tip on this mod. I have a shock coming and would like to know the best way to brace the swingarm (diagrams, templates etc). also it was mentioned that something (3/16"?) had to be taken off the width of the eyelet and a new bushing fabbed. all assistance and additional details appreciated

also if any one has the old (or new for that matter) disc drill templates a copy of those would also be much appreciated.

Do a search, I don't think a tech tip has been written, but one of us has fitted an R1 shock to their ride (I think it was XSchop) he's always coming up with something creative, you might checkout his threads and posts, could be helpful. have a nice day and ride safe
