    Hello
I'm a new member in greenwood Arkansas. I have found a really nice 1980 xs1100 special 20,000 miles . Whats a bike thats clean and runs good worth ? I have a Gas Gas dirt bike that he wants to trade for .

Depends on a lot of things.
I think that the average that most members spend for a clean, good runner is $900 to $1,000.
Of course, there's always great ones for less. Just depends,
Two of mine were free, one $500, and other $700(but had almost another whole bike's worth of parts.
Basically boils down to... What it's worth to you, the buyer.
20,000 is low miles... better condition... I'd go $900 maybe.

If you do pick this bike up, you're in a good area to ride with other 11's. We ride the Talimena Trail in one rally in October, and are having another rally in May based out of Eureka Springs.. with several impromptu rides along the way through there. I also try to get a few of us over to Hot Springs at least once a year. There is also a Meeting of the Minds gathering in Hurst, TX in June where a bunch of us get together to meet and turn wrenches on the bikes.. then go for a ride.

The 11 is a great bike, and this site will help you keep it running should you have any problems.

Try your hardest to be the kind of person your dog thinks you are.

You can live to be 100, as long as you give up everything that would make you want to live to be 100!
