  • I found a XS1100 Registry

    Hi,
You guys pprobably have know about this forever but I never saw it before.
This guy has a registry where you can put your Vin and info about your bike and check out others too.
I noticed there are only a few 4H3 midnight specials there but there are lots of 3H3 bikes listed.
    Here is the link anyway.

Pretty cool. I added mine, but there's only one other MNS with a similar VIN as mine, and it's in the UK!

If my source info is correct, there were only ever 250 MNS's made in each of 1980 and 1981. Not suprising that there are so few of them out there 29 years later.
    1980 XS850SG - Sold
    1981 XS1100LH Midnight Special (Sold) - purchased 9/29/08
Fully Vetterized and Dynojet Kit added, Heated Grips, Truck-Lite LED headlight, Accel Coils, Irridium plugs, TKAT Fork Brace, XS850LH Final Drive & Black SS Brake lines from Chacal.
Here's my web page devoted to my bike! XS/XJ User's Manuals there, and the XJ1100 Service Manual and both XS1100 Service manuals (free download!).

Whether you think you can, or you think you cannot - You're right.

My LH has a serial number of 3XXX. That tells me there are over 3K 1980 models!! I DID list all four of my bikes on the registry, though...
