  • side covers and floorboards

    recently bought a 1979 xs eleven with 35,000 miles on it. in process of rigging it out with saddleman touring seat, river road saddlebags, slipstreamer windshield, and am going to paint it before summer. am trying to find a set of good side covers for it and a set of floorboards . can anyone help?

    From what I hear, those are one of the hardest parts to find for these bikes. Every once in a while, they show up on ebay. Sorry I can't be of more help than that. Good luck!

      Floorboards....if you are talking about forward controls, then yes these are pretty rare but not unknown. markland uses to make sets for the XS11, and some people have had luck converting early Goldwing sets to work. If you are talking about floorboards without forward controls then this is pretty simple. See this thread:
