It has been talked about on this forum many times that Mikes XS is a 650 site and don't tell them they are going on an 1100.Owner really gets upset.

      Please don't ask MIKE!

A little research on the Yamaha Fiche site reveals the following part #s:

      1977-81 XS650 Front MC
      1J3-25852-01-00 CAP, RESERVOIR
      1J3-25855-01-00 BUSH, DIAPHRAGM /washer plate
      1J3-25854-01-00 DIAPHRAGM, RESERVOIR

      81SH XS11
      1J3-25852-01-00 CAP, RESERVOIR
      1J3-25855-01-00 BUSH, DIAPHRAGM/Washer plate
      1J3-25854-01-00 DIAPHRAGM, RESERVOIR
As you can see they are the same, so the answer is YES!

This is on the front page of MikesXS:
Mikes XS supplies parts for Yamaha XS/TX650 Twins (1970 - 84) Only! We do not have a service shop. Most technical information, sources for products not handled by us, and services, may be found in the links Links or Tech Tips sections.

Parts N More provides parts for the following bikes:

Yamaha XS1100/850/750/400, XJ650/750/1100, XV Viragos, V Max, RZ/RD 250/350/400, SR/TT/XT500 models and parts for Kawasaki Z1/KZ/KH/H1/H2&S models, Honda CB/GL/VF&CBX models, Suzuki GS/GT&T Models
Interesting that the XS1100 is the FIRST BIKE mentioned in this statement!

SO...as has been stated, do NOT ASK Mike about the fitment of any parts he sells for 650s and it's possible use for the XS11, he won't know, won't tell, and will get PISSED and possibly NOT sell you the parts!
