    Who knows for sure..

    what was causing it, but it has stopped. The float now seals. Had to clean that spark plug up and took it out for a ride, even drained the carbs while riding (fogot to turn on the fuel) and it still sealed afterwards.

    Now to change the oil. The crankcase does not smell of gas at all, but I was ready to change out my flushing oil from the gear repair anyway.
