  • changing mid/final drive oils w/o dipstick

I am trying to change the mid and final drive oils but do not have a dipstick to check levels. Does anyone know the measurements from the top of the fill hole for each or can you fax me a copy of a tracing of the dipstick (208-498-2993 fax) with the upper and lower levels marked (so i can make my very own) for each drive?

    All assistance is appreciated.

The middle drive.. make it right. But the final drive, just fill the thing up. There is a vent at the top that will get any XS out if it doesn't like it. A quick wash off IF that happens.. and good to go there.

The book calls for 10 oz in each drive.

I used this pattern and made one out of plexi, with the help of a pair of calipers for proper measuring and a scroll saw. I keep it in my toolkit now.
