    Rear Caliper removal

I am trying to remove my rear brake caliper only, and not the bracket it is attached to. I removed the support bolt, but the caliper wont come off by itself. Do I need to take out the rear wheel cotter pin to achieve my goal?

There is a flathead screw that must be removed from the left side of the caliper. Access it thru the wheel spokes. It holds the pads in place.
