  • 1983 Maxim 1100 gaskets

    Hi all is the engine gaskets the same for a 1983 maxim 1100 as the xs 1100 if so does any one have gaskets they would like to sell need a head gasket

    The XS head gasket won't work unless you've closed off the YICS tubes somehow.

    Here's one on Ebay.. but no idea why the shipping is so high on it.

    If you look at the extra strip of material along the bottom side of the gasket... that's for your YICS tubes.

    For double that, you can get the whole gasket set for your bike. It will be $70 including shipping...

        I used this set when I had to replace some bent valves last summer. Quality is excellent.
