    Throttle cable

Is the 1978 xs eleven cable interchangeable with my '79 XS1100SF? I found one on Ebay for 3.99. My cable is in bad shape and I need to replace it soon. The new ones I have found are $30 an $25. Any ideas on the best place to find one?

The Standard cables ARE a different length than the Specials. You CAN fit the Special on the Standard, but NOT the other way round.

          Adam,
Some of the "needs" are easy, the rest just take a little longer...
          4 new vacuum port plugs
Can be had at almost any auto parts store. Just buy a pack of them for about $4.00
          plastic starter button
Ebay, they have one or two sellers, as well as mikesxs.com Normal price is about $10.00
          plug for camshaft tensioner
Check for the threads on this. The plug is STILL AVAILABLE from Yamaha.
