Anyone have any experience with Yoshimura Racings Parts? I picked up another 78E today and it has a 4-1 Header on it that is made by them. I am just wondering if they are any good or just some crap "one time build". It is an awesome looking header and looks like very little for baffles. I may have to mount em up on one of my running bikes just to hear em. I will post pics of them later if anyone wants to have a look.

Back in Japan, If you didn't have yoshimura pipes, you were lagging. The Ipod of exhaust sytems. The sound is awesome, you will not be disapointed. Besides, back in the day they were alot more expensive, so they must be better, right?

Yeah, your right. It probably is garbage. You should just give it to me and I will scrap it for you.

It does not look good for getting the filter out without removing the headers. I will probably find out more tomorrow when I change the oil. I pulled the plugs and oiled inside the cylinders. She turned over nicely. It has not run since 1999, so it may get interesting. If I cant get it to fire up I will probably just use it as a parts bike.

Man, I would hate to see a complete 11 go to parts just because it doesn't 'fire right up' after almost 10 years of sitting. Unless you have already cleaned up the carbs, you can bet that it probably won't.

Trust me it will never go to parts unless I can not get it to run. I dont mean just in the next couple of days. I mean like if it has internal issues that are simply not worth fixing. It is well past riding season here so I have plenty of time to play with it. I also happen to know this site where I can find lots of help in trying to get it running.

Got the new bike running and she seemed to run strong. Did not do much changed the oil and filter, repaired one plug wire added vacuum lines and gas lines and with a little coaxing she was running on all four inside of 5 mins. So probably going to have to rebuild everything else on her but we will see. Later fellow XSers, Doug
