I'm out of town away from my new xs baby and surfing ebay. I'm wondering the OD size that will work with stock throttle. Thinking 7/8"?? Also while i'm at it, what size is the rear motor mount bolt that also mounts the pegs? I am missing the nut and would like another one on there.

Bars are all 7/8" on the bikes. If I remember correctly, the rear bolt is a 10mm, but I DON'T remember the thread pitch. Go with someone else on this, as I can't check at the moment.Ray Matteis

Changing bars?
Hi bigray,
some Harleys have 1" bars and BMWs have 22mm bars. All other bikes have 7/8" (22.2mm) bars. Your bike needs 7/8" bars. The shape of the bars is entirely up to you and what fits you as you sit on the bike. As to that nut you need, it's best you measure it with a caliper and a thread gauge to be sure of the diameter and thread pitch. Others can tell you what the fastener should be but on machines as old as ours, who knows what yours actually is?Fred Hill, S'toon

I picked up a set of thread guages the other day, very cheap, but extremely handy.
Not sure of the nut size but here's a link to a stock replacement....http://www.boats.net/parts/detail/ya...-12248-00.htmlErnie
