  • easy trans removal

    does anyone know an easy way to remove the trans with out having to take apart the whole top half im having aproblem with 1st and 2nd gear so i bought a new trans any help would be helpful

    It's all here if you search. It involves turning the bike upside down. Photos and all are here. Try "2nd gear fix".

        I actually did mine with the bike laid on the engine guards. Layed it ofer on each side to pull off the parts on that side. Then flipped it on the right to pull the gears out.

            Have done mine on the centerstand and it wasn't too bad. didn't think about just laying it down on the right side. that may be easier. I will give that a try if I have to do it again.
