  • smokin the tube

Ok if I go with pod filters what do I go with for the tube coming out of the crankcase? And about the tube out of the crank is it supposed to smoke?

Smoke coming outta the breather tube is probably blow-by (compression lost past the rings). Make sure crankcase isn't overfilled. Use a breather like this on the tube...

Its got very little smoke coming out of the tube and only when it is idling. Is it a bad thing? And I checked oil its fine.

Alittle blow by isnt that big of a deal.If it isnt fouling plugs or smoking I wouldnt worry too much. Its just a sign of some engine wear.Ride it and enjoy.

Like the others have posted... just normal engine blow-by gases. Vented to the airbox so that they can be burned. Same as the Positive Crankcase Ventilation (PCV) valve system on a car.
Tube needs to be able to vent. Put a filter on it, as mentioned, to keep out the bugs.
