How to Lower xs11
Wondering what is the safest lowering option for 11special. Front and rear. 1.5-2" drop. Any suggestions that don't include pulling out the hacksaw and just chopping springs. Ha. What is the lowest seat height possible without giving up suspension?

The Lowering
John lowered my bike for me and I have no problem touching both feet to the ground... at the same time... while on the bike...
At 5'5"... it was a bit of stretch for me before the lowering...
It makes it kind of a PITA to get off the centerstand... but it handles REALLY well in the curves and corners...81 SH Something Special

I shortened my center & side stands, well worth it. Shorter rear shocks are the easiest way to lower it.79 F full cruiser, stainless brake lines, spade fuses, Accel coils, modded air box w/larger velocity stacks, 750 FD.
