    In addition to your workbench, another item you might consider is a Workmate, those folding table top vise things. It makes a great bench for working on your carburetors. You can sit looking at eye level, and use the underside to hold a plastic tray that can contain the necessary tools and parts. You can use the vise area to hold the carb bank while disassembling them. When you are finished every thing folds up ready for the next use.

      I have one of these in my garage, I use for the carbs a lot. I don't have to bend over and it has a good lip to keep all that lovely fuel from getting on my toes.

        I know, your posted pictures of your angle iron setup demonstrates that great minds run in parallel tracks. That angle iron idea is a keeper.
