Speedo prob

Hey all,
Wondering if anyone has had the prob of they're speedo being sluggish...When I got Maime running for the first time the tach was super sluggish too..would only go to 4 grand then fall slowly..the tach is finally workin ok but speedo is not. It works but always takes awhile to climb to actual speed.
Does anyone know of an easy fix or should I be patient and see if the "cobwebs' finally shake out?

Mine did the same thing just before it quit alltogether! Still hopin' it's just the cable but I never remember it untill I'm already rollin'. maybe if I got an XSive ticket I would remember to check it out! LOL Garry

My speedo was slow to climb for about 2-3 weeks, then began working fine. A tech at work said the lube in the speedo was probably stiff.
