  • Rpm At Speed

ON MY BIKE THE RPM ARE ABOUT 4700 AT 50 MPH AND 6400 AT 60 MPH, THAT DOESN'T SEEM RIGHT IF TOP SPEED IS AROUND 130. ANY INPUT?? THAT IS THE READING FROM THE STOCK AND AN AFTERMARKET TACH.

On my special, 4000 is roughly 65mph and 5000 is roughly 80. so yours is more than just a little off. I would start with the tachometer.

Or, if it sounds like your rpm's really are that high, I would adjust the clutch. You may have to do some repair work if you can't seem to get it all in spec. Also, make sure your clutch cable is free and not sticking
