Someone was advertising on this group that you could ship them your carbs and they would rebuild them for a fee. I can't remember who it was. I did a search but couldn't come up with it. Anyone else remember who it was?

81xsproject used to rebuild carbs. I'm not sure if he still has the time, but you can ask him. As far as the sync, it MUST be done on YOUR bike!! We can get the carbs close on another engine, but they WILL NOT perform properly unless synced to the engine they will be running on.

Jessie (81xsproject) is the man you want. He cleaned and rebuilt my carbs 6 months ago and the bike has never run so well. He will even polish the tops and bottoms and put cool hex head fasteners in them if you would like. Just ship him the carbs, he cleans and fixes any thing that is broke or missing. He then tests them on his bike. When you get them back you just reinstall them and go for a ride.

I do still offer the service, it just takes a little longer than it used to. With my new 50hr a week job, a wife, a 3 year old, and the addition of my recent second son, I am a little shorter on time (while advancing the grey-ing rate of my hair). I am getting ready to do jobs for devilschild and DavesXS and am guessing for turnarounds of between 3-5 weeks. However, once I complete the installation of the FI system, I don't know if I will be able to continue doing on bike testing (which is the best part of the service in my mind).

That's the best excuse I've heard to get another eleven!

                Good excuse

Not only that, then you would have a stock bike to compare the FI bike to. That way you could do a side by side judgement of preformance!
