need opinions

I planned on reringing and a new cam chain on a 78 xs1100 standard size pistons. I also have a 80 1100 mid. special that has been bored 60 over that doesnt need to be ringed, the valves is bad. I was thinking about using the 60 over cyl. and pistons and the good head. Will this all fit up and work right with no problems ? I need some opinions on doing this ..Thanks

We just had a thread about this. There are some differences in the head but not sure if it would cause problems or not. Try the search, only a week or so ago.
