Well, I got the new connectors from Vetter installed yesterday and I received a followup email from Carol Vetter, on a Sunday! to let me know they had been shipped. THAT is customer service!

They're AMP connectors and are identical to the originals.

Of course I broke a retaining tab off of one of the new terminals and I had to buy a complete blister pack with a strip of 9 terminals and the connector shell from Radio Shack just to to get one terminal.

The Radio Shack connectors and terminals are not the same as the AMP connectors and terminals. Fortunately, I only needed one so I made it fit.

I modified the pigtail headlight wiring and connectors while I was installing the new bulkhead connectors. I'm taking the bike out for a test ride and I'll try to post some pics if it works and holds up the way it should.

    Regards,

    Scott
