    OK guys... the bike can definetly accelerate.... the opposite it does not so well.
    The brake lines/calipers/master cyl were cleaned, brake fluid is new... the pads have meat on them, but even knowing the bike is heavy, braking isnt... satisfactory.
    What do you say... are yamaha brake pads any good? What bout brake lines... which ones?

    I have genuine Yammy pads on mine and like them. I also totally rebuilt the system and added stainless steel braided lines. My brake are good, and that is as good as it gets. My Bandit brakes are great. the XS will never be that good.
