ANYBODY HAVE A SOURCE FOR CHEAP SEAL KITS FOR BRAKE CALIPERS? I HAVE AN 82 XJ AND MY LOCAL DEALER WANTS OVER 80 BUCKS A PIECE FOR THE KITS, WHICH INCLUDE THE PISTONS, WHICH I DON'T NEED. ANY HELP WOULD BE APPRECIATED.

Here's another good source who doesn't rip you off on the shipping.
      80G Mini-bagger
VM33 Smooth bores, Pods, 4/1 Supertrapp, SS brake lines, fork brace

      Past XS11s

79F Stone stocker and former daily driver, sold May '10 now converting for N.O. to cafe style
      79SF eventually dismantled for parts

79F The Ernie bike sold to a Navy dude summer 08
79SF Squared-off Special, Vetter/Bates tour pkg., Mikes XS coils, G rear fender and tail light. Sold June 09

        on second thought

search this site with 'XJ caliper kits'. I just posted a similar question and there were a TON of great answers.

Generally if there not leaking all they need is a good cleaning and fluid change.
Out of about 10 brake jobs only had to get kits for a couple.

yeah i figured i'd clean up the pistons and put new seals in the calipers, flush everything out and see what happens. along with cleaning the spooge hole i keep reading about.
