    Engine Stop Switch

    My switch on my 80 xs1100 special no longer switches. Thankfully its stuck in run.

    I was going to order the following from Mikes XS

    Part #24-2060

    I just want to make sure this will be a direct replacment for whats on mine. (plug and play)

    Any info will be appreciated.

    I would take it apart, clean it and use some dielectric grease first. The left side needs the plug off the 11 soldered on the new switch. Don't know about right hand switch.
    79 F full cruiser, stainless brake lines, spade fuses, Accel coils, modded air box w/larger velocity stacks, 750 FD.
    79 SF parts bike.

      I have taken apart the switch to clean it. The problem is the housing for the switch is broken and beyond repair due to PO.

      But thanks anyway.
