all the shops around me are closed at the moment and im dying to know what kind of price i will be looking at for this stuff, so here is a list... tell me what you think i will be paying for this

pod filters
spark plugs
oil filter
oil
brake light repair (doesnt light up)
carb tune (for the pod filters)

needs a whole oil change (has gas in the oil)

I just paid $6.17 for a spin on at Advance Auto Parts. They had stock replacement filters for $4.12. Fram oil filter part#CH6002 . Castrol 20w50 was $12.00 a gallon at Walmart. Advance had NGK Iridium plugs for $6.98 each. Lesser plugs are obviously less. If you have the stock air box, just put a K&N filter in and you probably won't have to change anything in the carbs, unless you have a high flow exhaust (Jardine, Kerker, Mac). Use the money you save from the shop and splurge with a LED brake /tailight. If you have a high flow exhaust you might have to go up a couple of sizes on your main jets if they are stock. Figure about $300 labor.
From reading your other posts, you have a carb float needle issue... hence the fuel in the oil.
Did you ever resolve your carb leaking fuel issue?
If not, the shop will have to tackle that, and that's gonna be about three hours labor.
Chasing down the brake light deal may run another hour, depending on what the cause is.
Of course, you could do all this yourself and save a bundle.
OR...
You could pay me half of that $300 and I'll walk you through how to do it.. holding your hand for you.
OR...
I could walk you through how to do it for free... as long as I don't have to hold some strange guy's hairy paw.

You have two brake light switches.... Hand brake and foot brake.
If neither of them make the light go on, it's either the fuse, the bulb, the bulb's socket, of a broken wire somewhere. Do the "running lights" in the front come on when the ignition is turned on?
