  • Any1 have drag bars? I want to change my pullbacks!

Anyone got a set of drag bars they don't want? I've got a 79 xs 1100 and i have the stock pullback style bars on mine and i always wanted a cool set of drag bars (to show off the tattoo's when i stretch out to ride! LOL! I"m a kid get over it!). But yeah if you guys happen to run across anyone wanting to get rid of a set that'll fit my bike or if you want i'll trade ya sets if you'd rather have a pullback set. Thanks fellas. Later.
Yes it's a damn nice bike, yes it's in REALLY good condition, yes it would be a shame to chop it, BUT damn how cool would it look with ape hangers?

    You can get anything ...

you want at Al-ic-e's Restuarant.... but, unfortunately or fortunately depending on what you're lookin' for, at MikesXS you can only get a few good parts for your SF. Handlebars, fortunately, are one of 'em .... check 'em out !! Good prices too ....

Be prepared for the possibility of having to get a shorter length of brake line from the splitter up to the master cylinder. The stock line will probably be way too long when you take off the stock bars and put on drag bars that do not have any rise or pullback.

              Preserve the pullbacks!

              Hi Bowtied,
One wonders how many of those ergonomic disasters have been simply scrapped rather than adding to the joys of alfresco music? So don't junk the rototiller bars, they'll make a great bass note for your backyard windchime.

                disaster?

I find mine to be comfortable - but not really pleasing to the eye.

I liked my curvy bars, but it just made it look like a cruiser. I like the superbike bars much better.

                    Black drag bars

Just go to the pipe store (Lowes or Home Depot)
Get some 7/8 in pipe, saw it to the length you want, paint it and mount it.

That would be cheap but it could look good.
