      Got my Jardine on

Installed my Jardine 4 into 1 on MadMax and it didnt fit as they said it would..but I made it fit..note i didnt use that L shaped bracket...but I may have to go back and use it...not sure...the other exhaust(MAC)had no such bracket...anyways the sound is a bit more gnarly than the MAC but still both sound comparable to each other.I like the black headers and collector pipe.Chromed glasspack muffler also looks good

        Those look really good.
I went out an looked at mine carefully and with the "L" bracket up, the center stand would hit on the shaft drive on that side. You don't have that problem I guess.

I dont have a centerstand on the bike...so its not a problem...plus if you look you can see that the bracket should connect on the backside of the cannister muffler but it didnt fit there so I unscrewed the nylon nut on the ring clamp and that thread is really long so I used the short bracket to connect from the frame mount to the ring clamp bolt. This also lowers the exhaust a bit over what it would have been if it fit the right way...thus I dont need the L bracket...BTW Thanks for the comments If it didnt fit this way the only other thing would have been to cut the collector pipe abt 3"-4" shorter then connect the canniser to the frame mount...as it would then match up.

Mine got a jardine 4-1 (I thought!) and it looks nothing like that.
I've got a couple of pics on the ""can you identify this bike" thread from today. Any clue if mine are actually jardines?

Your Jardine looks to be an older design...how long have you had it?Looks downright better than mine...

I bought it one year ago fro a kid the same age as the bike who had no liscence and no idea what he was selling. I added the GIVI sheild and put the mesh on the side covers, plus polished the C_ap out of it...once. Had 31,000 when I got it. Pretty good deal becuase first gear needs "the Fix."

So you're saying that the exhaust came with the bike and youve had the bike for a year?If so then you dont know how old the exhaust is?As I said it looks to be an older design. Also like the ghost flames paint job ...and the mesh screen side covers...thats very neat lookin' ride!

Sorry, I've been trying to take texting lessons from my 16 year old son
I added the shield and the mesh. I picked up the bike a year ago as it sits. I only removed a bunch of lower side oil and dirt. I got a really good deal because the young man without the license was saving his pennies for a crotch rocket (or an organ donor machine)

with all the polishing you have done, do you ride it much ?

Anyone else have problems with these dragging on right and turns? Maybe I have them installed wrong?

If you look each header pipe should be stamped 1-2-3-4 .#1 pipe is the first one on the left side of the bike #4 is the last one on the right side.So all ya gotta do is match 'em up and bolt them on...play with the collector until you get all headers to fit in it and the bend in the collector pipe should roughly parallel the lower frame rail all the way back under the rear footpeg on the right side...HTH.

That's how mine is set up. When you go hard on a right hand turn, do you scrape?
                                Here's mine on the bike

Here is how they are set up relative to the frame

                                here's the bottom of mine
