does anyone have any idea what i should get to fit my 79 xs sf sickle without much modifications and where would i look to find it. any pictures or any other leads would be app.thanks the rowdyboy

side bags eh.....
hey there rowdyboy321.....i have a 79 standard myself and was looking at hard bags also......i soon found out that the stock ones are hard to find even in so-so condition.....maybe one of the other memebers might have a set 2 part with, but will be $$$.....i was wondering this problem down at the local yamaha shop and they show me a really nice of leather side bags (sort of hard sided, but let's see how they would hold up after a couple rainstorms!!)....what was cool was that they mounted with a simple wide leather band that went under the seat....also, if you wanted to take them off, all you had to do was "unzip" them off the bike....was pretty cool and am thinking of getting them for my ride....smaller than the stock side "trunks"....best of all they were only about $120 for the set....but this is just my 2 cents....good luck in your search....talk 2 ya later...ross

thanks ross, i have a set of leather bags but, i was looking for one to lock up. if any body has a set uf hard luggage cases i may be interest in them.ross post some pictures when you get those bags installed i'd like to se them on you cycle,thanks again for your reply79 xs 1100 spec & 80 xs 1100 gComment
