OEM mirror fix

When I dumped my 78E last weekend, I broke my right OEM round mirror. It's stem is 1/2" longer than any replacement I've found and I really like the view it presents. So I put another mirror the same size into a pot of water a brought it up to boil. As the plastic expanded the mirror fell right out. I immersed my OEM mirror housing in the pot for about 30 sec and the mirror dropped right in. Once it cooled it remained in place.
