  • Spark plug caps

I decided it wa time to replace the plugs and plug caps on my '80 XS11. I thought I could use the same caps (5K ohm) as I use on my '80 XS650. I took a look at a Yamaha OEM parts site and I noticed that the two inner caps are longer and is that a correct price for a cap assy......$32.00?
Where does one go to find caps at a reasonable price.
    Thanks,
    joe

You can get the NGK's at CRC2online. They have all of the various lengths and angles.

I bought new ones from MikesXS

I bought the non-resistor type, and now use the far more common Resistor plugs. (BPR6ES)

Mikes has them in 5kohm, 1kohm and 0ohm versions. All are Bosch.

      They are all $3.50 each.

The only reason the inner ones are longer, is to help you not burn your knuckles.
Nice day, if it doesn't rain...
