    XS on the big screen...

    Hey all,

A friend brought over a movie tonight and I spotted an XS 1100 in it. It's called "Wet Hot American Summer", it came out in 2001 (though the movie was set in 1981).

It's not what I'd call a great movie but it did show an XS for about 30 seconds...not entirely worth watching the whole movie just to see it, but that's a choice I leave up to you. We watched it in a large group, with plenty of beer and every intention of making fun of it.

Anyway, I'll see if I can borrow the movie to double check that it was in fact an XS1100 and maybe pin down more specifics.

    Laters,
    Jon

    Just found this on Youtube.com:

It's at 1:18 in the video. (About halfway through) and most of what you see in the movie is included in this little montage, it's just better resolution on the DVD.

    Enjoy!

I watched it w/o volume this am, very weird, but I would have to agree that it was an 80's special.

Thankfully, the bike appeared early... so I didn't have to force myself to watch the whole clip.
Definitely agree.. watch the clip without sound.
