I have an 80 special and was wondering were to find the fuel intake Tees. Mine seem to be working but was going to put new ones in or would like to have them just incase. I cant find a yamaha number on bike bandit and othe sites and the ones for the 650 on mikes look to long. The other question is i took the slide needles out to check adustment only to find they dont have adjustments. is this normal for this bike or did PO install different needles. Does any one have an extra inlet seat hold down. I havent checked to find new one yet But I will just thought I would ask.

Those are stock needles.
The only way to adjust them is to shim them up by placing small "carb kit" washers underneath them."Damn it Jim, I'm a doctor, not a mechanic!' ('Bones' McCoy) -
I dont know about the TEES but maybe try cycles.com or ebay.I thought I read on here somewhere that those TEES from mikesxs would work.Dont quote me on that though.I have an 80SG also and there is no needle adjustment.78 & 79 do though.you probably dont need to adjust them anyway.Just make sure you have the right jets for youer configuration and if you havent done so yet maybe disassemble and clean your carbs good and replace any worn parts. Then syncronize ,pilot screw adjustment ,resync.80 SG XS1100
