    cam casting numbers

    Does anyone know what year these cams are out of?

    Intake- X4

    Exhaust- 8B

    These are the only numbers on the cams. I want to put them in a '79 motor I'm building.
    2H7 (79) owned since '89
    3H3 owned since '06

    I just went out an looked over my set of '79 cams and other than IN and EX, one is stamped (NOT CAST, with your typical metal letter/number stamps) "47" and the other "4J"...?

      Yeah, my numbers are stamped too. Guess i'll just measure them, see if they are '79 specs.
