    Hey Coke,

This is what I asked the Seafoam people,

Can seafoam engine motor treatment be poured directly through spark plug holes, on a motorcycle engine, and left to sit, to help clean carbon. If so how much would be recommended. (1100cc in line four cylinder)

It is difficult to pour it into the intakes as they are horizontal and are difficult to access.

    And this is their reply,

Yes, best run engine 1st for cylinder heat, then apply about 1 ounce to each cylinder, allow to sit until liquid soaks all carbon and penetrates into rings and ring grooves to melt that varnish also.

Sea Foam comes in a SPRAY CAN, called DEEP CREEP part # DC-14.

This would make it extremely easy to soak down each cylinder with the plugs out, or WITH WARM ENGINE RUNNING, soak each cylinder through its associated air intake/throttle until they emit fogging, choking smoke.

Shut off engine, allow to heat soak 10 to 20 minutes, re-fire and drive bike aggressively to clean out carbon smoke/dust.

    Thanks for using Sea Foam!

What's he talking about....... drive bike aggressively ....is there any other way?

      in the spark plug hole

I'm thinking of trying this seafoam soak method on my bike as it burns oil . There is a little smoke when I shift . I have used it in the crankcase for 20 mins on the center stand with a fan and used it in the gas plenty .
Thanks egsols for your research .

OK, At first I was a sceptic but now I am a convert. After the bike smoking up the neighborhood every time I started it I figured I had nothing to lose and dumped a 1/3 of a can of seafoam in the crankcase. Started it and let it run for about 5 minutes or until the smoke got too embarasing. Shut it down and pulled the plugs again to see what they looked like. Again a little black but no oil. Anyway, aftrer replacing the plugs I fired up old smokey again and lo and behold, NOT EVEN A PUFF. Thing is ideling and running great and no more fog. GO FIGURE.

Anyway, thanks for the suggestions and As I said at the begining I am a convert, SEAFOAM ROCKS.

Seafoam in the spark plug hole

Today I put about one ounce of seafoam in each sparkplug hole and I'm letting it soak for 5-7 days when I'm on holidays . I had luck using this method with my car but I used a lot more(4 ounces /cyl) and had to account for this . I also sprayed in some Deep Creep for good measure . Deep Creep helped a lot with my cars carboned up intake system after a good 3 day soak .
I sprayed some in the vac ports while running on the bike as well .
I also sprayed some in the YICS tool port and quickly replaced the screw to soak ( not running)

I went down to the NAPA again today to pick up some more deep creep and LO and Behold they now carry MMO. It was right beside the Seafoam. Mayhaps if you need some your Napa dealer will have it in stock.
