My 79 Special tachometer has started to become lazy. The needle dosen't follow the RPM quickly but catches up to the correct RPM in a few seconds. Has anyone had this problem and is it going to require another tach or could it be a dirty electrical connection or other problen? Thanks.

Other posts here have indicated that a good careful cleaning and light lube on the mechanism is in order for this problem.80G XScitant XStreme
