so I have a short some where , I was tuning the carbs and noticed a spark when I touched the tank , couldnt find any bare wires under tank, but rode to work last night and when I come out to leave bike fires right up but no headlight, I found burnt 10 amp fuse , but I thought it was weird ,that normally if I have the headlight switch on It wont start, but last night it would start with the switch on???????

Did you have the tank loose when you were doing the carbs or was it still bolted in place?
Check the black connector and wires to and from the right handlebar switch. The connector and wires come out under the right front side of the tank and can get snagged when you slide the tank into place.

It is Forward, under the tank, mounted in rubber , and it is just behind the weldment for the steering head. Don't confuse it with the tip over switch. It is rubber mounted also, and it has the wird UP embossed in the rubber, and it is just behind the headlight relay. The head light relay will have four wires and the tip over switch will have just two wires.
