    can't seem to find it

    I just bought a round headlight for my 79 XS11 standard & now I need the head light stay; or, something that will work the same. Most places that carry OME Yamaha parts, like power sports pro, don't stock that piece as it is discontinued. Does anyone have an idea where to find small discontinued parts? I'm still watching eBay with no luck & have tried 3 stock replacement sites on line! They all tell me too bad it's discontinued for all years from 78-82 and XS models 750-1100
    PS. if anyone wants to sell one I'm all ears!

    do a google search for NOS yamaha parts. You should come up with NW Vintage cycle parts and one other place I can't remember the name of. Both of them specialize in NOS discontinued parts. You could also try posting an add in the "parts wanted" forum. Lots of guys have parts bikes and I don't think the headlight stay is a highly valued and rare part so someone would probably mail one to you for a reasonable price.

        Did you try andreas weis?He usually has a post in the parts for sale area.You can pm him and ask.
