  • Partsnmore Fork seals?

So I'm going to replace my leaky fork seals soon, assuming I ever finish the headgasket replacement on my 88 Turbo Tbird. Anywho... I was searching for the parts and found these seals at partsnmore (https://www.partsnmore.com/cat_index...egory=chassis, Item #27-1046). I heard that some aftermarket seals aren't worth much of anything... how about these? Any body have any luck with these seals for the Special?

Also, I looked all over this site for the walk through for replacing the fork seals, and can't seem to find it... anybody got a link to this tech tip?

fork seals are a rather common item. sadly, partsnmore doesn't list the company who made the seal.
    i'm sure they'll be ok.

there should be threads on this somewhere.
      it's a simple operation.
      have you a manual?
one tip: when putting the new seal over the end of the inner tube to slide it down toward the outer tube, place a piece of plastic, like from a zip lock bag, over the upper end of the tube so that the seal doesn't get a nicked or gouged when installing it
      here's a useful tool:

I ordered those fork seals last year for my 1979F, and have had no problem with them.
