FYI google has a calculator kind of built it, if you do a search for say 1 1/16 inches to mm, the top result will say something like
(1 1/16) inches = 26.9875 millimeters. I use it all the time as its fast and relatively convenient to do all sorts of conversions.

47 years riding and still learning, does that make me a slow learner?
I do metric to english conversions as a rule of thumb .03937 inches is 1.00 mm. Or .040 of an inch is 1.00 mm. Or remember 25.4 mm = 1.00 inch. So take mm x .03937 . Or Inches x 25.4 Sorry I deal with this every day and can do most simple ones in my head like 3/8 of an inch is close to 10 mm. I learned this next one from watching metric porn 10 inches = 254 mm. I like this one because 254 sound so much bigger! LOL, OMG, Not trying to piss any one off just having fun.
