      G'day Chrisso!

What are you doing tomorrow? I'm in Ryde and I'm driving to Wilton which would be a ball tearer of a ride if I wasn't driving. I've invited pete to ride my bike there and back so if your not doing anything why not join us? I'll watch you both have fun

Hi,Got the headers coated about 4 yrs back-I wanted chrome but the mechanic reckoned HRC was a better idea & i would agree with that.Cost was under $200-Ive had headers chromed before & had to send them back as bits would fall off.Apparently HRC is much more environmentaly friendly too.

There are minor external cracks on two of them. You can see them when you squeeze the manifolds but they don't go right through. They would scrub up well and are perfectly serviceable.

I won't charge you anything for them but you might like to have a look at my tank. There are a couple of paint blemishes you might be able to do something with but if not let call it a permanent loan. If you get new ones, you can give them back. I've got another project bike here but it will be a couple of years before I get around to working on it.

Last time I went to Brisons all they had was a set of brand new (old stock) forks and a pair of OEM mirrors. The forks were $400 and the mirrors were $15. I bought the mirrors. If you get stuck for a tank I know a bloke who has a couple and might want to sell one.
