    "The final drive has been converted to chain drive. This was done by machining a gearbox to replace the right-angle drive off of the output shaft.
    I will not be doing this mod again, he admits. Again, I did all the design and machining of the gearbox. It was a tremendous amount of work."


    nice work tho,everyone who does a chain drive conversion never wants to do another,seems to be a very time intensive thing to do. cant see why he didnt do the rear end with an upright shock? looks better(my opinion) not too dificult(done it before) handles better too? still dont suppose i have room to talk when i run a rigid frame.lol. maybe if you contact him he might give you details of his middle gearbox conversion?
