    Hi Gang!
Chuck From Seattle here. I just purchased the XJ and it had only 13500 miles on it. I had a 1980 XS1100 from 1981 to 1990 and I'm happy to be a maxim owner again.

Hi there FSCGunslinger. You have two of the mighty beasts huh? May I ask what are you getting for gas milage? I'm at 31.4 and just getting into tinkering with the bike.

Hi John. I'm already checking ebay and craigs list to see if there are parts I want. My wife just rolls her eyes on this one.

I guess I've been lucky. With my red one, I've averaged 36-38mpg. I just bought the black one with the dynojet kits and won't get a chance to ride it till I get home around October/November, but the PO said he averages around 38-40mpg.
