head lite

hey there i'm new at this so please bear with me. reently acquired a 79 xs1100 and aftre a little tinkering (clean carbs, new plugs, fresh oil and new battery) got her to fire up! Can't say how excited i was. everything works except the head lite and intrument lites. i'm not an electricain so i'm looking for any help i can get

COngrats on getting it going!! The fuses being glass can LOOK good, but can be corroded and bad on the ends, so PULL them out, and check them with a meter, as well as the clips that hold them, they get brittle, loose,etc.!

I still have and provide the replacement fuseblocks if you want/need one!
