I think I know what is happening now. The wires giving me trouble is a hookup suposed to have a resister(red,yellow). Two wires (red ,yellow)go to kill switch. I think my short is in around coil wires. If you have any ideas let me know. Thanks.

My bike is a 78 XS-11E. Found one short,fixed it.Now I`am right back where I started.Can`t get bikes starter to work unless run hot wire to starter selinod. Thanks.Bill HarvellComment
