    spare xj tail light

    the plastic tail light "lens" took off during last nite ride (was hell-o-cracked & missing 1 screw)

    paging xj owners for a replacement 1 with screws, if possible

    ...just checking...

    will pay - there is none on ebay so far

    so I'll have to mickey mouse something quick before the cops do

      those tail lenses in decent shape are kind of rare. Most of them have some U.V crack damage to the top side. If people do have a spare, it's a hard to find part, so they probably don't want to part with it.

      There is one on Ebay right now in the "Buy it now" section, but they are proud of it... Looks to be in good shape though.

          thx guys

          I checked cheapcycle, bikebandit & ebay before writing this thread, but damn you guys are good service!

          Will look right away at the one that appeared on ebay

          in the meantime I did a $10 fix with couple solid red plastic sheets screws and gaffer tape, it's holding

                  looks good from far but is far from good

                  nothing to be proud of but still does it if u r stuck

                    I have a Maxim 1100 tailight assy that i bought on ebay a while back. If you're still interested, I'll see what i had into it and will let it go for that price...
