Twice now I have started my bike and the Tac pegs full scale. I will ride her for a short ways and it will streighten out and work fine the rest of the day. Anyone else ever have this problem?

    Thanx

frayed throttle cable sticking in the sleeve? Routing of the cable not right? The "gooseneck" came loose or is broken where the cable attaches to the hand grip?

The tach is electronic so what would the throttle cable have to do wtih it, atleast on my special its electronic? First thing I would do is check all the connections maybe when you ride it moves it around and gets good contact. Just a thought.

I've never had a tach apart so really don't know what's in there...
Sounds like a short which maybe the engine vibration sorta fixes once you have it running.
