    It's on now!

Tensioner gasket to pictures of UGLY UGLY pigs?? Gotta love this forum...except for the Okies and Arkansauce-ians.

Most Americans, when visiting other countries and asked where they're from will say "America." But Texans will always answer "Texas!"

Hey, any of you guys going to be in town at the ROT Rally this weekend?

    John,

The reason why there are only 10 stars in the DFW area is because "the stars at night are big and bright deep in the heart of Texas!" You're too far north to be deep in the heart of Texas.

      AustinPhoenix,

that is a very true statement.......when i lived in Brasil people would always ask where i lived....no one knew where arkansas was so i always said "its close to Texas" and everyone would say "Ah, OK!"

But still, Pigs are one of the cleanest animals.

        Did you know...

That, according to a factual sign posted at the Ft.Worth Zoo, that the Texas longhorn was actually imported from Africa, not originally bred in Texas.

Concerning the tensioner gasket, I would use the thinner gasket material. I gives you just a little more life before the cam chain needs changing. (not much).

As far as that goes, you can use NO gasket. Just clean both sides well and use Tribond/Yamabond on the mating surface. It seals the two whole halves of your engine... it would no doubt seal that, and you would gain all the thickness of the gasket for later adjustment.

I used it to seal my clutch sidecover this last time with no leaks. I was worried about how hard it would be to take off afterwards... and I did have to go back into there. No problems getting it off. I'm sold on it.
