I got a riding buddy of mine (works at a different shop) to check my starter. Good so I put it back on. The wiring is like a catcup commerical(a test of patance). If I can work through this be on right track. What does the white wire from right handlebar switch hook up to not in service manual? Thanks.

If you have a 78E, the red/yellow is the hot to the switch and when the switch is closed, the whit becomes hot.

By the way... the blue/white wire is for the starter switch. If it shorts to ground, the starter relay activates. At least that is how I interpreted my notes...
