  • Source for exhaust valves...

I checked PNM and I don't see 'em.
    No where else either...

What to do, what to do...

I know, I'll ask the 'guys'.

    Where can I order them?

    valves

Are you working on a '79 or an '80 head? The '79's are cheaper and more readily available, as they share the same valves as the 750.

      The 79

I can't use the valves from the 80. The 79 is the head I need the valve for.

        valves

If you go to eBay and type in "xs750 valves", you'll see a couple in there. I think the buy it now price is about $12. The '79 750 and 1100 exaust valves are the same. I know this 'cause I have a 750 exhaust valve in my '79 standard. HTH

Yamaha still sells the valves. Get ready to clean out your wallet!

          This site has them.

I've seen them NOS occasionally on ebay...

            Okay, I see it's a matter of $...

XSPastor-those are cheaper than the ones I found a minute ago for $61. That site has them for $45.22

I did just find some on Ebay for $12.99 Bikerphil.

How much should I trust Ebay?

I could've sworn I saw some for around $17, not that long ago. Damn gas prices! Everything is going up!!!

              ebay

Hey Carolyn, eBay is where I got my exhaust valve. It showed up in about a week. Check the sellers feedback before buying from them, that'll tell you a lot about the seller. P.S. Gonna be up at my buddy's house in Methuen with my XS the 1st. 2 wks. in July. Mabye I'll give you a shout.

Bikerphil posted a while back that he got some off Ebay for $8 a piece... Maybe he can chime in to say who he got them off of.

                      valve supplier

I bought my exhaust valve from Rusty Riders LLC (mrssuperdeals), and they still have one listed now. It was brand new. Got it fast too. It's worth it to do a little part #'s research, it shure can save you a bit of flow.
