    Hello All,

Just a quick hello and to say I found a 82 XJ1100 with only 4200 miles on the clock. It is in excellent mechanical and electrical condition but it was stored outdoors most of it's life and most of the aluminum is corroded so I am currently in the process of removing all those pieces and polishing them up. (Thanks to whomever suggested Permatex Gasket Remover as a clearcoat remover, works awesome but watchout. It removes paint too!)
I was looking for one of these bikes for a while and though I got jacked on the price ($3000 and he wouldn't haggle) I figure the low miles makes up for it. Only cosmetic repairs needed so when I get it done I'll try to post pics.

Any suggestions as to what to check for on a bike this old? My last bike was a 2001 Honda Sabre but had to sell it to move X-Country. Also this is my first Yammy so be kind...
